- My goal is to paint one portrait a MONTH (changed that from a week *too ambitous*)all year. It may not be great art but I am sure that as with anything else, the more I do, the more I will learn and grow. I will share my art with you and hopefully we can grow together! To quote one of my favorite artists " No one cares how much you struggle.." I have been studying with Dominic Vignola and Joy Christensen. Dominic Vignola teaches painting without drawing! awesome! Tonal Painting Rocks! Joy teaches at the Art Centre - Elk Grove Park District & She can mix any color you may ever want as well as teach you to paint. I have also been taking classes at the Main Street Art Centre with Susan Ploughe. Check out the Park District link on bottom of the page to see listing of classes.
