Grandson started

Block in...

After painting the portrait below I have been working on children ever since. I want to be able to have them look their age. Here is a look at how I messed up a 3 year old the painting makes her look much older. I love the painting for itself and for the learning experience however, I can't wait to start her again with my newly gained knowledge! Look below for more....

Tee Pee Commission

This is a commission for a baby's room. Great Grandma wanted a painting of a tee pee. Not finished.

Commission of a baby's portrait

Since babies do not sit still this was done with a photo taken in the full sun. She is squinting her eyes. I hope I got that !

Study in 3 hours

3 hours with a live model. This was really fun! Intimidating but Fun! I wanted to work on it further at my studio however, my hands were shaking so much the photo I took of the model did not come out (except as a blurr) I did not realize how nervous I must have been, painting with the group at live model night. I was with some very impressive artists!

My February Portrait
