Danica - first hour of painting Danica's Portrait This will be for April

So far I have made my deadline of one portrait painting a month...

When first starting out, the canvas was covered in burnt umbre, then I rubbed out the light areas with a rag. Next week, I will start painting with color much like the February portrait.
